Functional Fit/Circuit Training
Functional Fit Training
If you are not really big on CrossFit, our functional fit program at Dark Knight Sports Training is suitable for you. After all, functional fitness exercises mimic everyday tasks that can still train your muscles effectively. For example, a squat is considered as a functional exercise since it exercises your muscles when you rise up and down. Whether you are simply picking up low objects or if you are sitting up-or-down from a chair, it is already a form of functional exercise. Essentially, a functional exercise trains your muscles to work the same way they do in everyday tasks.
Circuit Training
On the other hand, circuit training allows you to achieve your training goals through a fast-paced, high-intensity work out. Essentially, a circuit training is done through performing one exercise right after another (in a circuit). For example, you can do curls, immediately followed by squats, then immediately followed by a set of lunges. Exercises are done in rapid succession typically with little to no rest in between. So if you are pressed for time, but still want to get a workout in, our circuit training at Dark Knight Sports Training is definitely the right program for you.
